The Body Harmony Association is here to offer full support if you want to become a teacher, and our goal is to help make the process as straightforward and rewarding for you as we can.

Teacher

You need this level of membership to be certified as a Body Harmony Teacher, and additional benefits over practitioner BHA membership include:

Teacher certification is divided into two sections: A) “Training and Experience” which covers items that require completion, which we ask you to write about; and B) “Skills and Qualities” which the BHA expects to see in a qualified teacher. 

Five teachers, some from different regions, and including at least three BHA committee members, are required to certify a new teacher.

A) Training and Expreience

To become a certified BHA Teacher, a certified Practitioner needs to submit a written summary of 500 -1,000 words covering training and experience and be able to demonstrate a minimum of 1,000 hours of class time and practice. This can include:

These are the skills and qualities the BHA looks for in Teachers.

All Body Harmony certified Teachers must hold BHA membership and
, among other required criteria, demonstrate a commitment to uphold the association’s core values in their work. 

The cost of teacher membership is $150 AUD per year.
